Anime is the term for Japanese animation and Manga is the word for Japanese comics. Many young artists the world over are interested in learning about these very modern and distinctive styles of art. Anime exists in computer generated images but this class will be concerned with hand drawings.Some Anime may contain adult content, but this class will be G-rated!

Art 403 and 403E Anime/mangaEach of you has an idea of what manga should look like but you all are developing your own styles. That's a good thing! This class has grown in scope as you individually create your own characters and stories. We'll continue this during spring term. |

Anime drawing classOur class is smaller this term but that will enable us to spread out and do more!~ I really am enjoying this class and you are all improving so much. I wouldn't even recognize some of your work, it looks so different! See you later... |
